What to Expect

There are several consideration involved in pricing a local move. Our local moves are charged at an hourly rate, which includes packing.Our rate is based on the number of movers and trucks required for the job, which is usually only one. Your relocation coordinator will make the proper estimate for you. Time charges may include hours to load and unload, driving time from point of pickup to the destination, and a travel time charge. Travel time accounts for the drive time from our office to the pick up and from the destination back to our office. At Jordan River we like to make it easy for you therefore your relocation coordinator will provide you with a flat travel time for your move. For any questions you may have regarding the preparation of your local move, please call us at any time. We are happy to schedule a free in-home estimate to determine the most accurate quote. A visual estimator will guarantee the labor hours will not exceed 25% more than the written estimate. Materials are charged based on actual usage; there is no charge for the padded blankets used to wrap the furniture.
